tainted language, so brainstem is brain dead, in check
tough luck – with one ups, so gamesmanshipwrecked
I’m rearrangin the language, and disengagin the matrix
over your mind, only the blind – hate my statements
but no bank can make these, you been bankin on make believe
currency that’s currently faker than army navy beans
I plant the evidence – then I frame the debate
so you can understand what is relevant, plain as day
assumin day was a yogurt, but Truth is a flavor bolder
than the putty – in your Scully, and maybe Mulder, maybe Jehovas
Witnesses, there’ll be no more visitors – in my Watchtower
no thoughts of loss, I’m hope’s prisoner – as I watch the hours
I’m Semper Fi, you’re just sub-Marine like a conning tower
with my temper I’m – just such a meany while you’re conning cowards
I don’t believe in the need for degrees of defeat
in each of us – seeds of a dream speak to us, “keep it up!”
reachin up, but not in surrender, tho a knot in the center
of your stomach may be there, like hunger, you may be scared
but courage can’t exist – without the presence of fear
cuz courage won’t submit, it’s ill-tempered when near
and a hero is defined – by the battle over their earlobes
scarecrows of the mind, in the attic is where you hear ghosts

eagle-eyed – where ego dies, and evil’s lies – meet demise
